Bet on Horses through Trifecta Wheel Betting

Trifecta wheel betting is an advanced type of bet on horses where it is in fact a whole lot less risky than the traditional trifecta betting.

But why don’t we go down and analyze what trifecta wheel betting really is and perhaps we can use it when we bet on horses.

Trifecta wheel bet involves keying in a horse OR horses into the race’s eventual first, second and third place positions. Because bettors here are allowed to select more than 3 horses to finish in the top three positions in the exact order you specify, unlike the straight trifecta bet, it is considered to be easier and less risky.

It is very crucial that a bettor understands the “keying” concept of the trifecta wheel in order to make a successful bet.

First, start with the first place position. Select a horse or set of horses that can place first in your wager. For example, if horses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are in a horse race, you could choose any one of the six to place first OR some combination of the six to place first.

1st Horse Key Example:

Horses 2, 4 & 6

This means when the race is done and horses 2 or 4 or 6 places took the first place position then your first place trifecta wheel key is successful.

Second, pick your horse or horses that will place second and third, using the same procedure as the first key. You can pick any of the horses to fill your second and third keys.

2nd Horse key example: Horses 1,3

This means that once the race has ended and either 1 or 3 places second then your second place trifecta wheel key is successful.

3rd Horse key example: Horses 1,3 & 5

Again, once the race has ended and horses 1,3 or 5 took the third place then your third place trifecta wheel key has been successful.

There will of course be several winning combinations for you since you were allowed to choose more horses, as long as any of your horses took the winning positions then you should do good.
